Old Jersey - Cheese wheel
This old cheese is made from milk of real Jersey cows. The cheese is made and aged in Ouddorp, South Holland. In the traditional maturing warehouse, the cheeses are given ample time to mature to taste under the watchful eye of the cheese masters.
The milk from Jersey cows is characterized by the fact that it contains many times more proteins and fats than milk from normal cows. On average, it contains 85% more fat and 40% more protein. This makes cheese from Jersey cows much creamier and fuller in flavor.
Serving and processing aged Jersey cheese
The cheese is creamy and full of flavor which means it can be eaten in all ways: on bread, on the go, off a cheese board ... it's all possible.
