La Bouygette
La Bouygette is a goat cheese produced in the South of France. This goat cheese owes its shape to the way it is made. After adding rennet to the raw milk, it forms curds that are manually poured into a cloth. In it, it is given 24 hours to drain, after which the folds of the cloth are still clearly visible in the rind of the cheese. A characteristic feature of this cheese is the shape of a goat's ear.

This French goat's cheese is very creamy and has a soft rind. After the cheese is drained, a sprig of rosemary is placed on top for decoration. Thanks to its mild and creamy flavour with a slight hint of rosemary, La Bouygette is also very suitable for non-lovers of goat cheese.
