Fenugreek goat's cheese
Delicious creamy goat's cheese enriched with fenugreek seeds. The perfect combination of creamy goat's cheese with a light nutty taste of fenugreek seeds.
During the preparation process of these cheeses, fenugreek seeds are added and stirred throughout the mass. This ensures that the seeds are spread throughout the whole goat's cheese.
Goat cheeses are then matured in our traditional maturing house on wooden boards. After about 12 weeks, our goat cheeses are ready. This results in a delicious creamy nutty flavour.
Fenugreek
Fenugreek is a plant from the butterfly family. The seeds of this plant are also known as "Greek hay". The plant has green leaves, small white flowers and pods that contain its seeds. The aromatic seeds have a slightly spicy, bitter taste.
Besides the special flavour of these seeds, fenugreek also has a number of health benefits. Fenugreek is packed with fibre and minerals, such as magnesium and iron, among others. In addition, fenugreek could help lower cholesterol levels.
Eating fenugreek goat's cheese
Fenugreek goat cheese is delicious with a good glass of dry white wine. In addition, this cheese is great on bread or for cooking. Of course, it is also delicious to serve this cheese on a cheeseboard with various other goat cheeses.
