Whole Jersey cheese extra soft
Delicious organic extra mature cheese made from the milk of Jersey cows. The cheeses are made in the South Holland village of Ouddorp and are matured after the preparation process in our traditional maturing house for. For at least 26 weeks, these cheeses are given time to come to taste.
Unlike the milk of other cows, Jersey cows give milk with a different composition of fats and proteins. On average, Jersey milk contains 85% more fat and 40% more protein. For this reason, the cheese is much creamier and fuller in flavour. The cheese from these cows is therefore easily distinguishable from normal cheeses.
