Whole Dutch goat's cheese matured
Delicious cheese made from pasteurised Dutch goat's milk. These cheeses have a typical nutty and slightly sweeter taste. This delicious mature variant is particularly tasty and nicely spicy.
In addition, goat's cheese also has a much whiter colour than cheese made from cow's milk. This has everything to do with the grass the goats eat.
Of course, cows also eat grass. However, cows convert the chlorophyll of the grass into catopeen, an orange dye. This then ends up in the cows' milk, giving it a yellowish colour.
Goats, however, convert the leafy green of the grass into the colourless vitamin A. This makes the goat's milk much whiter.
